The piece follows Dr. Lu Hu's Atmospheric Chemistry Group and doctoral student Amity Deters as they fly research missions aboard a University of Wyoming King Air, sampling air thousands of feet above the city to study how urban and wildfire pollutants drive unhealthy ozone levels in the West.
